Heart-to-Heart: Comienzos East is a non-profit organization and as such depends on the support of individuals like you to accomplish our work for those seeking to live from the heart. Your support will bring hope, alleviate suffering, and help restore communication. Communication between families, couples, parents and children, of those who have been incarcerated or are at risk to be in incarcerated.

Heart-to-Heart is able to multiply its impact through integrating professional staff with skilled volunteers. Volunteers serve in correctional facilities and in the communities, giving from the Heart and making a difference by sharing their presence and unique gifts.

Volunteers help by:​​

  1. ​​Teaching Non-Violent Communication as developed by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg
  2. Lead Meditation, Yoga, and T'ai Chi
  3. Lead a 12-step meeting
  4. LeadWorkshops/Retreats

Volunteers help by:

  1. ​​Serving on our Board of Directors, providing leadership, vision, and long-tern sustainability for our work
  2. Providing administrative support in our office
  3. Bringing Heart-to-Heart Retreats and Workshops to faith communities.
